T.?T. Curtis, President of the Virgifiia Farm Bureau Federation, the state’s largest fanners’ organization, has announced that the 36th annual convention of the Federation will be held November 2729 at the John Marshall 'Hotel in Richmond, Virginia.
He stated that the voting delegates from the 82 county Farm Bureau will consider resolutions from which they will develop their program of action for the next 12 months. He said the convention will also elect a slate of officers, 7 directors, and 3 voting delegates to the American Farm Bureau Federation annual convention to be held in Chicago December 10-14.
“Survival through Teamwork” will be the theme of the convention, Curtis noted, and Cartha D. DeLoach, Assistant Director of the F.BJ., spefaking on “The Growth of Crime and. Communism in America,” will be the guest speaker at the annual Awards banquet to be held Tuesday evening, November 28.
