Mrs. Douglas Plantt of Washingon, D. C. and George Baber of Annandale.

Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Weakley and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Lamb and children of Culpeper were recent Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. John Yowell and family in Luray. Mr. Yowell entered the hospital in Harrisonburg last Monday for surgery. Mr. and Mrs. Weakley were guests this past weekend of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Gaines in Culpeper.

Tuesday callers of Dr. ^nd Mrs. R. W. Quaintance were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Carter and Mrs. Nan P?azier of Culpeper. Mrs. Erna Nethers of Hood spent the week end with the Quaintances.

Services Resumed At

Oakley Church

The Oakley Baptist Church announces that regular services will be resumed at the church. Worship services will be held on the second and fourth Sundays at. 2:30 p.m. The Rev. B. Gale Titchenell of Woodville will conduct the services.

Judge R. V. Snead has appointed Mrs. Sarah Latham a Justice of The Peace in Rappahannock County effective November 1st.

Mrs. Latham is now eligible to issue warrants.
