Miss Anna Ruth Barnette, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence C. Barnette of Goshen, Virginia, became the bride of Mr. Walter C. Berry, Jr., son of Mrs. Walter C. Berry of Mint Springs and the late Mr. Berry, Friday, November 10.
The ceremony was performed at eight o’clock in the Goshen Methodist Church by the Rev. Darrell L. Bays.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a Champagne street length gown fashioned with a lace bodice and silk organza skirt oyer taffeta with matching accessories. She carried a white Bible topped with a white orchid.
Mrs. J. T. Henry, sister of the bride was matron of honor and only attendant. She wore a mint green street length dreSs of brocade and carried a bouquet of vhite roses.
Mr. Marvin Berry, brother of the bridegroom served as best man.
Mrs. Berry was graduated from Goshen High School and Madison College. She has been Home Demonstration Agent in Rappahannock County.
Mr. Berry was graduated from Stuarts Draft High School. He is employed as laboratorian in the Benger Laboratory of the duPont Plant in Waynesboro, Virginia.
The couple will reside at Stuarts Draft.
