Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie Wayland and family of Alexandria spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Earl Wayland, who had as their guests from Tuesday to Friday, Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Partlow of Culpeper. Larry Wayland of Falls Church was a weekend guests of his parents.
Mrs. Julian Ragan of Richmond was a weekend guest of her parents Mr. and Mrs. M. W. Brown.
Eld. and Mrs. J. Harvey Daily were called to Martinsburg, W. Va. Friday by the death of their brother-in-law, W. B. Barr. They remained with Mrs. Barr until after the funeral on Tuesday.
Mr. and Mrs. Lucian Rector of Marshall were guests Sunday of W. N. Rector and Mrs. Perle Coffey.
Mr. and Mrs. F. D. Coffey had as their guests for the weekend Mrs. Dorothy Corder and her son Charles. Jr., of Huntly.
Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Cornell of Washington, D. C. spent the weekend at their cottage Boulder Lodge on the Hazel River.
Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Bolyard of Aurora, W. Va. spent several days last week with their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Bolyard. On Saturday the group went to Washington, D. C. to a basketball game in which Marvin Bolyard was a participant. He returned with his family for a weekend visit with the Bolyards. Mr. and Mrs. John Coates of Madison were also members of the party for the trip to Washington, D. C.
Mr. and Mrs. E. N. Montague of Alexandria Were at their country home, H-azel Notch, for the t weekend.
Mr. and Mrs. S.»E. Hening were in Pittsburgh, Pa. for an overnight stay on Wednesday.

Mr. and Mrs. Stant Weaver were guests for the weekend of Mr. and Mrs. Nick Penaranda in Fairfax. Saturday the Weavers were Culpeper visitors.
Tuesday Mrs. C. J. Miller, Mrs. J. Newbill Millet and Mrs. Dabney Carr spent the day at Seven Corners.
Mrs. W. F. Moffett, Sr. returned to her home here Monday evening after a visit with her sister Mrs. Vincent Smith in Yonkers, N. Y. Senator Curry Carter of Staunton was a guest in the Smith home over the weekend, leaving Monday evening by plane for Milan, Italy. Before returning to the States he will visit Berlin, Germany.
