To Dressing Pastures
Fall, winter and early spring are good times to top dress pastures with fertilizer and lime. Soil tests will tell you whether or not lime is needed. Also soil tests are important in selecting the most economical analysis and rate of fertilization. Where soils , are acid liming increases the efficiency of the fertilizer. Soil tests for pastures should have a ph range 6.0 to 6.5.
