Magazine Campaign

The annual magazine subscripted campaign conducted by student salesmen of Rappahannock County High School started October 26 with a goal of $600. The campaign, closed Wednesday, November 8 with sales totalling $1,012.57. The school’s share of the proceeds will be approximately thirty per cent of the gross sales.— about three hundred dollars. This money will be used for the purchase of library books and supplies and for athletic and other equipment in the school.

The leading salesmen were: first, Bettie Miller; second, Ginger Russell; third, Billy Mundy; fourth, Carolyn Johnston.

Harvest Dinner

Reaps Great Benefits

The Forest Grove School PTA reports the harvest supper held early this month was most successful. Proceeds will be used to purchase a moving picture projector and horizontal bars for the playground. The people of that community thank all whe contributed food, helped with the preparation, attended the dinner or assisted in any manner.
