Announcement is made of the engagement of Miss Linda Hast-, ings Pace of Reidsville and Greenville, S.C., and Paul Daniel Hawkins of Sperryville, Va.

The tvedding is planned for Saturday, December 23, at Baptist Temple Church, Reidsville.

The bride-elect is a daughter of Mrs. Nell 'Hastings Pace of Reidsville and Henry Clay Pace IT of Leaksville. She is a 1959 graduate of Bob Jones University, Greenville. S. C. and is teaching in the Greenville city schools.

Elects Officers

At a recent meeting of the 4-H ■ County Council held in the Educational Building of Washington Baptist Church, the following officers were elected for the 1961-62 year: President, Louie Miller; VPresident, Carolyn Johnston; Secertaty. Betty Kilby; Song Leader, Kay. Johnston; Game Leader, Susan Schaefer; Reporter, Judy Lilia rd and Devotions Leader, Ann Cannon.

A training workshop was held for club officers followed by a social hour which included refreshments.
