The Reverend B. Gale Titchenell of Woodville received a Master of Science in Education degree from Madison College, Harrisonburg, Virginia on August 10th. Mr. Titchenell also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Georgetown College in Kentucky and a Bachelor of Divinity degree from Crozer Theological Seminary. He has also completed a year of graduate work at West Virginia University and has taken courses at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pa.
Mr. Titchenell moved into Rappahannock County two years ago to become pastor of the Woodville Baptist Church and a teacher in the local high school. He came to this area to further recuperate from a bout with tuberculosis and has found the climate here quite suitable for this purpose.
With the acquiring of the Master’s degree he is also eligible for a graduate professional certificate for teaching in the schools of Virginia and having majored in guidance, he now meets the qualifications for certification in this field.
