Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Burke, Miss Faye Burk and Miss Peggy Apperson of Culpeper and Wayne Butler accompanied Miss Patsy Burke to Washington, D. C. where they all had dinner.

Mr. and Mrs. Howard Ward and children accompanied by Mrs. Beatrice Carter of Culpeper, spent Thursday in Gettysburg, Pa.

Mrs. Annie King, Mrs. Helen Stanton of Washington, D. C. and Preston Butler of Riverdale, Md. were weekend guests of Mrs. Carlyle Brown, Mrs. Wallace Weaver and Mrs. Frank Butler.

Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Hensley were Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Johnston in Brightwood.

Mrs. Charles H. Estes entertained two tables at bridge Friday evening at her home Rosewood, near Sperryville.

Those playing were Mrs. T. J. Pillar, Mrs. Patzig, Mrs. V. E. Goddard, Mrs. Fred Schaefer, Mrs. Elmo Flynt, Mrs. I. R. Kilby, Mrs. I. O. Wolf, and Mrs. Brown Miller. Prizes were awarded Mrs. Flynt and Mrs. Kilby.
