Report On Beef
Cattle Crossbreeding

A five year summary report of the beef cattle crossbreeding research program conducted at the McCormick farm has been received.
The British breeds . . . Angus, Hereford and Shorthorn were used in the study.
Highlights of the report show:
(1) Crossbreds had 8% more calves born alive as compared to the straigbtbreds.
(2) Average, weaning weights of the cross breds was 2 31bs. greater. Continued on page ten

Rev. Warren Wilbur is again a patient in Warren Memorial Hospital and is being treated for iaundice. Bible school scheduled for this week was cancelled due to his illness.
