“But friendly words are a delight to Him (Proverbs 15:26B . . . Moffett)
Many books are being written and read on the subject of Prayer. Many sermons are preached from the pulpit about prayer. We do not have space to write about the subject as we would like to do. However, the following words might be suggestive as you think of your personal prayer life.
The author of A PRACTICAL PRAYER is unknown.
“Lord, teach me that sixty minutes make an hour, sixteen ounces make a pound, and one hundred pennies make a dollar.
Help me to live so that I can lie down at night with' a clear conscience, without gun under my pillow and unhaunted by the faces of those whom I have brought pain.
Grant that I may earn my meal ticket on the square, and that in earning it I may do unto others as I would have them do unto me. Deafen my ears to the jingle of dishonest money, and to the rustle of unholy garments.
