Pvt. Donald B. Gore, son of Mr. and Mrs. (Edward Gore of Sperryvflle, Va., recently joined Headquarters of the XXI US Army Corps to complete the third and last phase of a six-month period of active-duty for training. Assigned administrative duties with the Corps’ Inspector General Section, Pvt. Gore came to his new duty station in Indiantown Gap, Fa from Fort Knox, Ky., where he completed basic training and attended clerical school. He has been in the Army since March of ■this year.
A 1958 graduate of Rappahannock High School, he was employed as a highway construction inspector by the Virginia Depatment of Highways at Warren ton prior to entering the Army.
Pvt. Gore enlisted in the Army under the Reserve Forces Train-, tog program which requires that six months of a specified period of military service be spent on active duty and the remaining portion in an Army Reserve or National Guard unit assignment.
