Mrs. I. F- Sandridgc and her daughter, Linda of Eikton are!
spending some time with Mrs. C. M. M. Green Mr. Sandridgc was a Sunday guest in the Green home. Also visiting Mrs. Green are her grandchildren, Dick and Peggy Miller of McLean. Mrs. D. D. Miller^ Jr. underwent surgery on her back last week in a Washington, D. C. Hospital. She is recovering satisfactorily.
Mr and Mrs. Eddie Holmes and family and Walter Miller, have returned to their home in Maryland after visiting Mrs. Ida Holmes. Mrs. Holmes was a guest for a few days of Mr. and Mrs. William IHolmes at: Remington, and of her sister, Mrs. Tony Fisher in Warrenton.
Mr. and Mrs. Dutton Yowell of Etlan were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Nethers.
The WSCS of the Amissville Methodist Church met August 17 with seventeen members present. Mrs. Julia Curtis and Mrs Fletcher Osborne were hostess /or the meeting and served refreshments
