Miss Marie McCloud left by plane last week from Washington, D. C. for Los Angeles, Calif, where she will visit her brother Robert. She will also visit her uncle, Eugene McCloud in Nevada.
A group of young people from Slate Mills Baptist Church hiked Old Rag Mountain last Sunday. They were Frank Mitchell of Culpeper, Lt. Col. Norman Wilbur, Lanell Wilbur, Melissa Johnson, Curtis Lee Weaver and Miss Betty Reynolds of Fredericksburg, George Baber, Jr., Arlington, Barbara Underwood, Novum, Norma Lee Wilbur, Mark, Philip and Eddie Paul Johnson.
Mr. and Mrs. George Baber, Jr. of Arlington were Friday night guests of Mrs. Eddie Jolfnson and Saturday night attended a farewell party at the home of Andrew Kibler at Salem in honor of Miss Joan Kibler and Miss Patsy Burke, Boston, who are going to Washington, D. C. after accepting positions with C.I.A
