Mrs.J5. B. Creasy, Sr.

Mrs. Ariadne Witherow Creasy, of Bedford, Va., died August 14th -at her home after a long period of ill health. Mrs. Creasy was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Witherow of Rappahannock County.

She was born in Springwood, Botetourt County, Va. on June 1, 1891 and moved to Rappahannock 4 with her parents in 1898. Mrs. Creasy was educated at Madison College, Harrisonburg and Dunsmore Business College, Staunton ailfd taught school in Rappahannock, Page, -Rockingham, Augusta and .Bedford Counties.

She was a member of Bunker Hill Baptist Church, Bedford.

Surviving is her husband, S_ B. Creasy, Sr.; a daughter, Mrs. William Kennedy, and six grandchildren, all of Bedford; a brother, Scott Witherow of Bedford; and two sisters, Mrs. W. W. Walter of The Plains and Mrs. Hugh Yowell of Culpeper.

Interment was in the church cemetery in Bedford.
