Auxiliary Thrift Salas Begin This Week-end
The Ladies Auxiliary to the Washington Volunteer Fire Department will hold their fall “Thrift Sale” each Friday and Saturday during the month of September in the Post Office building. Hours 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. We are appealing to the citizens of Hampton District for donations towards the sale. Won’t you let us have your discarded clothing, jewelry, bric-a-bracs, household ware or anything salable? Please contact either Mrs. W. B. Jenkins or Mrs. C. T. Bruce when delivery can be made, or if you wish someone to pick up same. We are also asking for helpers during the sale. If you can help please contact some member of the Auxiliary before Monday, Sept. 2nd stating what hours and dates you can help. The regular monthly meeting will be held in the Directors' room of the Rappahannock National Bank on Monday, Sept. 2nd at 7:30 p.m Anyone wishing to attend will be most welcome. .
