Baumgardner of Alexandria and Bellevue Farm, Washington Va. Mr. Baumgardner and his son, John, accompanied by Otis Owen and two daughters, Janice and Judy of Annandale, spent August 17 on a trail ride. Mr. Owens brought two ponies by trailer from Annandale and the party of five left Bellevue Farm and proceeded up the Mt. Marshall fire trail to Skyline Drive. They went to Gravely Springs, up the Buff Trail and back down the Harris Hollow Trail. Mr. Baumgardner estimated'they covered a total distance of 25 miles. Birthday Party

Thirty-five guests were present at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Lee, Flint Hill> Friday, August 23, to join in the celebration of the birthday of' their daughter, Joan Lee. Dancing, games, refreshments were enjoyed by the guests.
