The Homemakers Club picnic on Tuesday August 20th was held in Flint Hill Firehall instead pf the lawn of Mrs. Wade Pullen due to rain Miss Harriet Goode, the Home Demonstration Agent, met with the group and Mrs. Wade Pullen was hostess. Those present were Mrs. Edward Putnam, Mrs. Frank Cary, Mrs. Noah Putnam, Mrs. Mary Frances Bywaters and famiLy, Miss Alice Virginia Pullen, Mrs. Galley Smith, Jr., Mrs. Barbara Gentry, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Miller, Mr. and Mrs. James H. Bly and family, Mrs. Shelby Welch and family, Mrs. Lloyd Pullen. After the picnic, Mr. Bly, who is assistant Manager of Aileen Plant took the group on a tour of the Plant.
