There are 1,157 students In Rappahannock attending county or county supported schools for the 1963-64 session. Rappahannock High enrolled 294; Washington Elementary, 326; Sperryville Elementary, 293; Amissville, 42; Scrabble, 42; .Washington Graded, 62 and 1W. A. Russell, 33. Attending Carver High School are 42 and Crlser High, 23. There is a decrease of 8 from last school session; 3 In elementary and 5 in high school.
Open House Sunday
Madison Ex. Center
The public is invited to Open House at Madison Extension Center, Sunday, Sept. 29, from 1:30-3:30 p.m. A spokesman said the time was chosen with the usual Fifth Sunday dinner in mind. Visitors to the Center may enjoy a roast beef dinner offered at Madison County High School from noon to 2 p.m. Many changes have been made at the Center including k new Chemistry laboratory it use today, Thursday, for - jthe first time. Twenty-eight I students have registered this term for day classes. Data on evening classes is not avail able at this time.
