Olden Atkins of Culpeper died September 20, 1963 In the Culpeper Memorial Hospital at the age of 51. Born In Rappahannock County, he was the son of Berket and Dora Atkins. His survivors include his wife Mrs. Genie Jenkins of Culpeper; three sons, Henry Atkins of ManaSsas, Robert Atkins, U. S. Navy Patuxent River Station, Md, and James W. Atkins of Culpeper; two daughters, Mrs. Ray Ross of Rifle, Colorado, and Dora Susan Atkins of Culpeper. Also a sister Mrs. Ralph Atkins of Culpeper and two brothers, Oakley Atkins of Culpeper ami Oliver Atkins of Washington, Virginia. A funeral service was conducted by the Rev.H. L. Porter Sunday, September 22, 1963 at 4:00 p.m. in the Clore Funeral Chapel with interment in Falrview Cemetery. Pallbearers were Lyle K. Martin, Lewis Deal, John Miller, Jr., Raymond Baldwin Russell Painter and Joe S. Johnson.
