Mr. and Mrs. Russell Settle of Mt. Savage Farm have as their guest for a two weeks* visit Mrs. Settle’s sister, Mrs Luther Elkins of Charleston, W. Va.. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Weakley and children of Culpeper attended services at the Slate Mills .Baptist Church on 'Sunday. Sunday dinner guests of Mrs. Hazel Barfield and Miss Alice Hitt were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lee Barfield and family of Berryville, Paul Davis, Jr, of Lignum and Mr. and Mrs. Morris Brown of Fredericksburg.
Mrs. C. M. Gaines and Infant son C. M. Gaines, Jr. were in Culpeper Memorial Hospital last Thursday, for x-rays of the baby’s foot. The cast was removed and it is reported to be in good condition.
