The Virginia Department of I Agriculture plans two meetings with agricultural leaders in Northern Virginia this fall. Department o f f i c i a 1 s will hold regional meetings with key persons in Harrisonburg October 31, and Warrenton on November 1. "This is a program designed to allow us to review our over all operations in the state," said Commissioner Richard D. Chumney. "These meetings will permit a free exchange of ideas between Department representatives and members of segments of the industry of agriculture in the different areas." Commissioner Chumney will head the Department delegation, which will Include Department directors. “This will be an opportunity for the Department to see whether or not its present program is adequate to meet the needs of each region," Chumney continued.
