Saturday, September 28,1963 At 2:00 P.M.'(E.S.T.) the following described parcel of land, to-wit: “All that certain tract or parcel of land, situate, lying and being in Jackson Magisterial District, Rappahannock County, Virginia, located near Battle Mountain, located about. % mile north of Viewtown on Statec Secondary Road No. 640 and bounded on the north by an unimproved road and the land of Turner Settle; and on the east by the land of Carroll Stringfellow and the south by the lands of Chester James and George Brent; and on the west by the lands of George Berry and Turner Settle lying east of said road No. 640 and by the land of M. E. Lea lying west of said road end estimated to contain 29.6 acres, more or less.” This is the same tract or parcel of land acquired by Joseph Settle from George Settle by deed dated January 4, 1902, and recorded September 9, 1905 in the Clerk’s Office of the Circuit Court of Rappahannock County, Virginia, in Deed Boox X, page 12. This is the same real estate that Joseph Settle, also known as Joe Settle, died seixed and possessed of. Directions: (1) Prom Washington, Virginia, follbw U. S. Highway No. 211 to Ben Venue; turn south on State Road No. 729 for about 6 miles; turn north on secondary road No. 640 for about 1 mile to Settle land. (2) From Warrenton, Virginia, follow U. S. Highway No. 211 3 miles past Amissville, Virginia, of said highway 211 and 940; turn left on No. 640 for about 1 mile to Settle land. Sale of the above parcels shall be subject to the approval and confirmation of the Court. TERMS OF SALE: Cash. Ten per cent (10%) of the total purchase price shall be paid to said Court on the day >f sale, and the balance thereof shall be deposited to the :redit of the Court in The Citisens National Bank of Front Royal, Flint Hill on or before 10 days after the date of ■aid sale.
