Mrs. Bertha Armel attended the Firemen and Rescue Squad Banquet in Culpeper on Thursday night. Mrs. Bertha Armel and Harold B. Estes have returned from a few days stay at Hampton. Mrs. Armel’s daughter Mrs. Eloise Terry underwent surgery Tuesday at McDonald Army Hospital, Ft. Eustis and is improving satisfactorily. Dr. and Mrs. Larry Moore of Burkeville were over-night guests last Wednesday of Mrs L. J. Turner. Her daughter Miss Carolyn Gates Turner and John Filicky, both of Richmond, were week-end guests.
