Set Safety Standard
Employees of the Potomac Edison System, after setting a new standard for safety during 196 3, are carrying their accomplishments into the New Year. Officials of the electric utility announced today that the more than 1,600 employees through its four-state area recpatlY passed the mark of one-million manhours worked without a lost-time accident. This manhour figure is generally ac c e p t e d throughout industry as a noteworthy accomplishment in the field, of "safety. . ■; As a result, PE employees will receive citations from the Edison Electric Institute and the National Safety Council.
