The Flint Hill Rescue Squad took a patient from Warren Memorial Hospital to her home in Hume on Friday. Sunday night the Flint Hill Fire Company responded to a call, along with the Washington and Front Royal companies to a barn and chicken house fire on the premises of Paul Nichols. The buildings were destroyed. Washington Fire Company went to a chimney fire Thursday at the home of Mrs. Louemma Williams. There was little damage. On Sunday night the same company went to a barn and chicken house fire at Paul Nichol's home in Flint Hill. The Rappahannock Rescue Squad answered calls as follows: Friday, January 10, J. H, Daily from Warren Memorial Hospital to home in Sperry ville; Saturday, Will Hunter from home to Newton Bfkgr Hospital, Martinsburg, W. Va. Wednesday, January 15, Ernest Updike to Qr, Snead’s office and back home. Thursday, January 16, Mrs. Oscar Sisk from home in Peola Mills to Front Royal Warren Memorial Hospital. Friday, January 24, Ernest Updike to University Hospital. Saturday January 25, Ernest Updike to University Hospital and back home. Also on Saturday, Mrs. Oscar Sisk from Warren Memorial Hospital to her home at Peola Mills. On Saturday, January 25 the Sperryville Fire Company answered a call to a chimney fire at Henry Jackson’s house on the J. W. Fletcher property.
