Wardens Named
Raymond M. Johnson, Chief Forest Warden of RappahanV nock County named the foretft wardens who will be available for forest fire control work this year. These men are supplied with forest fire fighting tools, and they are located at strategic points throughout the county. Should a forest fire occur in the vicinity of these wardens, they should be notified along with Chief Forest Warden Johnson, Wardens are: Sperryville, Charlie C. Atkins, Clarence Jenkins, James F. Smith. Amissville, Roadcap Atkins, Earl Putnam, John Tapp. Wash ington, George W. Beahm, C. B. Palmer, Jr. Woodville, John A. Burke, Earl J. Kilby, Chester T. Wayland. Flint Hill, GeorgeDeavers. Chester Gap, M. A. Greeley. Viewtown, Turner Settle. Castleton, Herbert Hitt. Boston, Conner Jenkins. N. H. Grimsley is lookout watchman at the Red Oak Knob Fire Tower. Organizations Cooperating with the fire control effort are the volunteer fire departments of Amissville, Flint Hill, Sperryville, Cast let on and Washington and the KVG group of Rappahaunock County High School.
