Prices at the Fredericksburg and Orange State Graded Slaughter Cattle Sales in February were comparable to those at Chicago. On February 15th, there were 57 steers and 41 heifers sold at Fredericksburg. Comparative prices: Choice Steers ...$22.50, at Chicago-$21.25 to $22.5U; Choice heifersf21.90, at Chicago $21.00 to $21.50; Good steers $19.40 to $22.40, at Chicago-$19.50 to $21.00; Good Heifers $18.50 to $21.00, at Chicago $19.50 to $20.50. On February 19th at Orange 46 steers and 19 heifers-prices comfiared as follows: Choice heifers $19.30 to $20.50, at Chicago $20.25 to $21.25; Choice steers $21.40 to $22.00, at Chicago $20.75 to $21.50; Good steers $19.90 to $22.00, at. Chicago $19.00 to $20.50; Good Heifers $17.50 to $20.50, at Chicago $19.00 to $20.00. The next Fredericksburg sale will be held March 5th.
