State, County Tags
On Sale March 15
State and county auto license tags go on sale March 15. In Rappahannock County state tags may be purchased at Hampton Inn & Service Station and county tags from the Treasurers office In Washington.
According to Robert L. Brown, Treasurer, $17,601 were realized from the sale of county tags in 1963. This represents about 1,800 tags. In 1962 revenue from the county tag sale amounted to $ 17,129
Dance at Sperryville
There will be a dance at Sperryville Elementary School on Friday, February 28 beginning at 8:30 p.m., sponsored by the Sperryville Revelettes, a majorette group Music will be furnished by Collis Fincham and the Virginia Mountain Clan.
Lenten Supper Meeting Planned For Tonight The first of the/-weekly Lenten covered dish supper and discussion meetings will be held tonight, Thursday February 27 at 6 o’clock in the Trinity Episcopal Church Parish Hall. Come and bring a dish of your choice. Mrs. T. L. Pillar and Mrs. E. N. Montague will be hostesses and the discussion will be led by the Rev. Charles F. Glaenzer.
