Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Conner J e n k i n 8 had their children home for the day. Those home were Mr. and Mrs. Richard Jenkins and family and George Jenkins of Manassas; Frank Jenkins of Fairfax; Mr. and Mrs. Roy Atkins and three c h i 1 d r e n of Sperryville; and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Racer; Mrs. Vernie Jenkins of Culpeper also spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Jenkins. Harry Lillard was taken ill suddenly Monday afternoon. Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. George W. Tidier were Mrs. Tidler's sisters Mrs.J. J. Casey and Dr. Casey of Alexandria, Mrs. Chester Wea ver of Boston, and Mrs. Tidler’s niece Miss Jerry Allen of Bayone, N.J. Mr. and Mrs. Donnie Walker and daughters Barbara Jean and Donna Lee of Clinton, Md. spent Saturday as guests of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Hensley and Mrs. Gladys Schlosser and daughter Gladys at Fox Hill Farm. Randolph Hash accompanied Marshall Dwyer home and each spent weekend with his parents. Both are University of Richmond students. Mrs. Joseph Powers entered Culpeper Memorial Hospital on Tuesday of last week. Leonard Butler of Washington, D.C. 6pent the weekend visiting relatives and friends near Boston. He spent Friday and Saturday with Mr, and Mrs J. B. Burke and Mr. Edmund Burke. Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Yates of Washington, D.C. were Saturday evening guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Burke and Mr.and Mrs. Edmund Burke.

Mrs. George Hawkins was a Wednesday visi tor of the Butlers. Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Wood, Jr. were guests Saturday of Mrs. Wood^s parents Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Blanton in Amelia. Mr. and Mrs. R. F. Jenkins and family of Fairfax were guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs Charlie Jenkins. Mr. and Mrs. Cary Thornhill are spending some time in Winchester to be near Mrs. Elm a Manuel who is a patient in Winchester Memorial Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Gordor Thorhnill and their family visited Mrs. Manuel Sunday. Miss Shelia Howard of Fair fax spent Saturday with Miss . Patsy Vest. Mr. and Mrs. Preston Browning were Sunday evening visitors of W. L. Yancey and Miss Annie Stephenson. Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Wood were Mr. and Mrs. Press Pulliam and three daughters and Mrs. Mary Hitt, all of Alexandria and W. L. Yancey.
Mr. and Mrs. Yager Burke of Washington, D. C. were here last week with Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Burke and took Mr. Burke to University hospital, Charlottesville. They ra turned home Saturday. Mr. Burke is somewhat better. Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Menefee and son, Billy were in Charlottesville to visit Charlie Menefee who is a hospital patient there.
