At Madison Center
An informal, non-credit course, The Law of Real Estate, will be offered in the Madison Center’s evening program during the coming semester. The course, which will be instructed by Mr. David F. Berry, L. L. B., of Madison will meet for ten consecutive meetings beginning Wednesday, Oct. 7. Tuition is $25.00. The following topics will be covered: Estates in land, types of ownership; Options and contracts to buy and sell; Settlement of real estate sales; Restrictive covenants, reverters zoning regulations, use permits and other limitations of property rights, riparian 'rights; Financing of real estate transactions; Insurance fire, extended coverage, and liability; Brokers and salesmen; Properties of persons under legal disability; Eminent domain; Landlord and tenant. The Madison Center will offer an art workshop course at the Center during the coming semester from 9:30 a.m. until 12 noon on Monday mornings. The course, which will be taught by Mrs. John Skelton of Brightwood, will have ten meetings and will begin on Monday, October 5. Tuition is $25.00. Individual instruction will be emphasized so that students with varying backgrounds and interests may Work in their own fields of interest at their own levels. Interested individuals are encouraged to notify the Madison Center office, WH8-S201, inasmuch as a minimum group of 13 students will be required to justify the course.
