A reception was held at the VFD Hall in Flint Hill. Mrs. Emory Russell, Flint Hill, served the wedding cake while Mrs. Robert Johnson, Front Royal, and Mrs. Wallace Russell, Flint Hill presided at the punch bowls. AH are aunts of the bride. Miss Jean Lillarct Flint Hill was in charge of the guest book.
The bride's mother chose a dress of navy blue silk with a beige hat and gloves and navy shoes and bag. Her flowers were white roses. The bridegroom's mother wore a toast shantung dress with yellow accessories and a corsage of yellow roses.
