The marriage of Miss Mary Ann Smith, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Smith of Herndon, Va„ to Gerald Morgan Botkin of Oakton took place at two o’clock August 22, 1964 in the Herndon Methodist Church. Mr. Botkin is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Botkin of Oakton, Va. The bride is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Smith of Amissville. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a floor length gown of white satin and lace, fashioned with a fitted bodice and long tapered sleeves which came to a point over her hands. Her shoulder length veil fell from a coronet. Traditional wedding music was played by Mrs. JackDerflinger, a cousin of the bride. Maid of honor was Miss Marie Allen of Lexington and bridesmaids were Misses Barbara and Ann Stoneburner of Front Royal, cousins of the bride. Wayne Cook of Herndon served as best man. Ushers were Kenneth Smith, brother of the bride, Joe Botkin, brother of the bridegroom, George Legg and Herbert Brann. A reception followed the ceremony in the social hall of the church. Mrs. W. H.
