time with her grandmother Mrs. B. R. Armel. The Misses Josephine and Anna May Stambaugh returned this week to their home Skyverge after spending the summer at Green Lake, Wis. Mrs. T. C. Lea left Sunday for a weeks visit with her son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. John Cargill and family in Richmond. Miss Lottie Burton is the guest this week of her niece Mrs. Carson Walter in Middletown.
Guests on Tuesday of Mrs. William M. Fletcher were Mrs Louis Jennings and Mrs. John Norton of Chevy Chase, Md. and Miss Cary Ambrose of Caldwell, Idaho. Miss Dorothy Moore of Flint Hill was the over-night guest last Wednesday of Miss Sue Many at Ivy Hill. On Thursday Miss Moore, the Misses Sue and Mildred Many left for a sightseeing trip to Williamsburg. Before returning to Ivy Hill they made stops in Richmond and Fredericksburg to points of interest there* Miss Moore returned to her home on Sunday evening. Miss Frances Wood returned to school in Staunton on Sunday accompanied by her mother Mrs. F. Downing Wood and sisters Miss Alice and Miss Mary Wood. Mrs. Thomas E. Blades left Tuesday for her.home in Nokomis, Florida after spending some time in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles T. Bruce. Mrs. Blades’ daughter Miss Gwen Hockman returned Tuesday to New York. Mrs.
