Mr. and Mrs. T. W. Latham returned to their home Friday after spending a few days visiting their son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Milton Miller in East Hampton, Conn. Those attedning the Sue Slaughter Baptist Mission Group meeting held at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church, Woodville last Wednesday were Mrs, George Kidwell, Mrs. A. C. Latham, Mrs. Norvel James and Mrs. J. L. Walter, Miss Agnes James, a stu-, dent at Madison College, Has-' risonburg, spent the weekend with her parents, Mr* and Mrs. Norvel James. '< Mrs. C. C. Cockerill, Mrs, Johmtfddk^MrBuHerrRaWKep;, hart, Mrs. Ben Peck and Mrs, James Powell, all of Herndot) were guests Thursday of Mrs. Sarah Latham, and with her toured Skyline Drive and had lunch at Panorama. Mrs. G. E. Doyle, Mrs. T. W. Latham and Mrs. Pauline Latham were in Washington, D. C. Sunday where they visited Mrs. James Smith. Mrs. Marshall Scott of Washington, D. C. a sister of Mrs. Ethel Cooksey and Mrs. Annie Latham, is a heart patient in Washington Hospital Center. Mrs. p. D. Miller, Jr. and children of McLean and James Edwin Green of Washington, D. C. were weekend visitors of Mrs. C. M. M. Green. Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Priest and children were in Alexandria Saturday to visit Mr. and Mrs, Ernest Clement and had dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Emory Shifflett there.
