Assumes Pastorate
The Rev. Charles F. Kindred has accepted the pastorate of Amlssville and Forest Grove Baptist Churches and assumed his duties here last week. Mr. Kindred was graduated in 1960 from Grand Canyon College, Phoenix, Arizona in I960 and from Southeastern Baptist Seminary, Wake Forest, N. C. in 1964. He had served the Tussekiah andMeherrin Baptist Churches near Victoria, Lunenburg County, Virginia since 1962. A native of Titusville, Pa., he is a member of Titusville Lodge F & AM, Venango Lodge of Perfection and New Castle Consistory, all in Pennsylvania. He served with the U. S. Army from 1951-54. Mr. Kindred and bis wife, the former Deanna Lee Oakes, formerly of Brookville, Pa. have been married nine years. They have two children, Susan Elizabeth, age 7 1/2 and John Arthur, age 6. They moved Thursday to the.Baptist parr son age in Amissville.
