Eugene T. Moore
Eugene Thomas Moore of Castleton died Thursday, October 15, 1964, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John A. Jenkins where he had resided since 1956. Son of the late William Moore and Hattie Moore, his wife, and a native of Culpeper County, he was 82. His wife was the late Bertie Burke Moore. He is survived by one son, Luther B. Moore, Sr., of Chesapeake; two foster daughters, Mrs. John A. Jenkins, of Castleton and Mrs. Nellie Coburn of Baltimore, Md.; 11 grandchildren; 25greal> grandchildren; one brother, John R, Moore of Front Royal -•and three sisters, Mrs. ''Frankie Heyl of Castleton, Mrs. Robert Sees of Dundalk, Md., and Mrs. Holly Redman of Front Royal. A funeral service was held Sunday, October 18, at 2:00 p.m. In the Geest funeral chapel, Culpeper, with Interment following In the Moore family cemetery at Castleton. Pallbearers were Elmer Jenkins, John R, Jenkins, Earl Jenkins, Richard Moore, Garrison Moore, Jack Updike, Bill Swann and Mortimer Martin.
