Capt. Lewis J. Turned, son of Mrs. Jessie M. Turner, Washington, Va., completed a six-week medical service corps officer basic course at the Brook$ Army Medical Center, Fort Sam Houston, Tex., Oct. 16. Captain Turner received instruction in the duties and responsibilities of an Army medical coprs officer. The captain is a 1955 graduate of Randolph Macon Academy. He received his B. S. degree from Duke University, Durham, N. C., and his M. D. degree from the University of Virginia Medical School Charlottesville, in 1963.
