Anthony Edward Hanson, 26, of Frederick, Md. was fatally injured in a single-car collision near Amissville Saturday. According to Trooper L. N. Stevens, Hanson was killed instantly when the 1964 Volkswagen sedan ran off the high way and rammed a tree two miles east of Amissville on Route 211. After touring Skyline Drive, Hanson was enroute to a Washington airport to pick up his brother. Culpeper Rescue Squad took Hanson to Ciore Funeral Home in Culpeper. Larry Hostman Clark, 20, of Flint Hill was charged- with reckless driving after a single car accident on Route 211 near Amissville Thursday night. Clark ran off the left side of the highway, jerked back to the road then skidded off the right side of the road and hit a tree, according to Trooper L. N. Stevens. Clark and a passenger, Franklin Smoot sustained minor injuries and were taken to the hospital by Culpeper Rescue Squad. They were treated and released. Clark was charged with reck less driving.
