Exhibit at Library
The Rappahannock Library in Washington will be the scene of an exhibit of arts and crafts made by local people from next Wednesday, Oct. 28 through the following Monday. The Library will be open from 1 to 5 each afternoon. The public will see items such as paintings, quilts, rugs, carving, jewelry, knitting, needlework and many other items which are evidence of a wealth of artistic and creative activity in Rappahannock. All items to be shown must be brought to the Library Tuesday, October 27 between 1 and 5 p.m. Anyone in the county is welcome in this non-competitive exhibit and their participation will be appreciated. It is sponsored by the Rappahannock Arts and Crafts Project. Admission is free.
