Miss Dolly Hite of Thomasville, N. C. is a guest this week of Mrs. William M. Fletcher at Peyton Place. Mrs. John A. Keyser arrived Saturday from Dallas, Texas. She was met at Dulles Airport by Miss Mary Miller Wood whose houseguest she will be this week. Miss Segar Jones, a student at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, spent the week-end with her parents Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Jones at Delamore. Miss Carolyn Gates Turner of Richmond was the weekend guest of her mother Mrs. L. J. Turner. Additional dinner guests on Sunday of Mrs. Turner were Mrs. John A. Keyser and Miss Mary Miller Wood. The Rev. Arnold Sorrells was the Sunday dinner guest of Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Campbell at Twinland. Luncheon guests of Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Campbell Monday at the Lord Culpeper Hotel were Mrs. John A. Keyser and Mr. and Mrs. B. M. Eubank of Roanoke. They later called on Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Keyser at the Virginia Baptist Home. Mrs. George Singleton of Zanesville, Ohio and her mother Mrs. E. B. Smedley of Wooster, Ohio and Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Smedley of Dayton, Ohio visited friends and relatives in the county last week, staying with Mrs. Stonewall Clatterbuck in Gid Brown Hollow. Mrs. William Fracker of Zanesville, Ohio and Mr. ■ and Mrs. Edward Clatterbuck of Arlington were also guests of Mrs. Clatterbuck last week. Mrs. Clatterbuck accompanied Mrs. Fracker to Zanesville on Monday where she will spend the winter months. Miss Ebba Hitt is spending some time at the home of Mrs. Floyd Compton. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Noyes of Brandywine, Md. were Sunday luncheon guests of Judge and Mrs. B. M. Miller. Mrs. Gertrude Shadrack of. Culpeper was the luncheon guest last Monday of Miss Annie Miller Almond. Miss Carolyn Brock was the guest last week of Mr. and Mrs. John R. Spence in Chevy Chase, Md. She was joined there by her fiance, Karl Spence who is attending officer’s candidate school in New port, R. I. *
