Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Priest md son Robert and Mrs. Claude Green of Warrenton accompanied Mrs. Donald Rhoads to McGuire Air Bas^ New Jersey Sunday at which time Mr8. Rhoads and family left by plane for Germany to join Mr. Rhoads who is on a tour of duty at Bremerhavea The Priests and Mrs. Green were over night guests of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Hoffman in Willingboro, N.J. They returned home Monday night. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Burner of Richmond were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Burner and daughter Faye. Guests for the weekend of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Rowzie were Mrs. Minta Richardson and Mrs. Florence McChesney of Richmond, Mrs. T.B. Richardson of Powhatan and Miss Carol Rowzie, Front Royal. Sunday afternoon they were visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Pawley at Rock Mills. Enroute home Monday, the Mrs. Richardsons and Mrs. McChesney were visitors of Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Smith, who also had as guests Mrs. A. C. Latham, and Mrs. J. L. Walter. Afternoon’ visitors Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. S. D. Hutton were Mrs. Elizabeth Shumate and son Frankie of Front RoyaL Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Settle spent Tuesday in Charlottesville.
Mr. and Mrs.’ Robert Mills and two children of Lanham, Md. and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Mills and two children and Mrs Nellie Campbell of Arlington were dinner guests last Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Weakley Sunday afternoon guests of Mrs. Richie Colvin were Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Weaver of Culpeper and Mrs. Elizabeth Strickler of Midland. Mrs. Colvin is improving after a recent illness.
