Continued from page 1 Deer Contest carcte for the organization without charge. Also, a motion was passed to request the Game and Fish Commission to stock Thornton River from the bridge on 729 near Estes to the bridge on 621 at Rudacille’s Mill with small mouth bass. Game Warden C. E. Brown reported that the commission would not stock any stream passing through *no fishing* posted property. He felt, however, that very few properties, if any, along these reaches of the Thornton were posted against fishing.
A committee of T. M. Johnston, E. M. Jones, Jr. and Edward Hudson was appointed to! circulate a letter among the membership requesting the commission’s cooperation in thi6 project and another to be signed by property owners stating fishing is allowed. Circulation of these letters will be started this week. Paul Miller of Flint Hill announced that Kenneth High of Front Royal Auto Supply, located at the corner of 6th and Commerce, would grant whole* sale prices to persons holding membership cards in the Rappahannock Fish and Game Club for sporting equipment and supplies stocked. New members joining Monday night were; Elwood Welch, Gavor Foster, James W. Burke, Larry Welch, Lyle Reo tor, Roy Atkins, Bill Coffman, John R. Eastham, M. H. Brady Wallace Russell, Jack Chadwell, Bobby Brock, T. C. Lea, Jr., William Garfield Jenkins, Fred W. Jenkins, D. C. Daugherty, Carson Johnson, Edward Clatterbuck, Cletus Clark and Harry Trescott. New entries in the Deer Contest were*. Elwood Welch, Larry Welch, Gavor Foster, Roy Atkins, Jack Chadwell, Wallace Russell, Garfield Jenkins, Edward Clark, John R.
