Miss. Diane Bruce, a student at Longwood College, spent the week-end with her parents Mr. andMrs. Jack Bruce. Mrs. John P. Snead, Jr. was in Charlottesville on Monday for further treatment of a broken knee sustained in a fall last week. _ Mrs. Kitty Huff of Washington, D. C. and Mrs. Pete Huff of Alexandria were overnight guests Monday of Mr., and Mrs. Earl Many at Ivy Hill. Guests this week of Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Johnson, Jr. are Col. and Mrs. Paul D. Troxler of Lahore, West Pakistan. Col. Troxler, a former college classmate of Mr, Johnson, is with an engineep ing firm in Pakistan. Last year when the Johnsons made a world tour they visited Col. and Mrs. Troxler at their home there. Buddy Aylor of Arlington spent the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Aylor. Mrs. R. E. Thompson and Mrs. C. E. Johnson, Jr. of Sperryville entertained the Culpeper Minute Men Chapter of the DAR at thd Johnson home on Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. John Powell Jenkins of Boulder, Colo, were recent guests of Mrs. Lula Jenkins and Mrs. Lucy Clater. Mrs. J. B. Johnson who had the misfortune to fall in her home and break her arm is recovering nicely.
Mrs. F. D. Coffey and son Frank were recent guests of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Nethers in Flint Hill.
