Miss Annie Miller Almond entertained with a dinner party at her home In Washington on Thursday evening, October 22, having as her guests some ef the Florls School faculty and friends from Herndon. Included among them were Mrs. Nina Gibson, Mrs. Anna; Lou Bradley, Mrs. Polly Thornberry, Mrs. Mildred Evans, Mrs. Elizabeth Burton, Mrs. Marion Yarger, Mrs. Elizabeth Hanes, Mrs. Margaret Ann Peck, Mrs. Louise Peck, Miss Evelyn Norment, Miss Janet Tavener. Other guests were Miss Mary Miller Wood of Washlngtofttfnd Mrs. Sarah Latham, Amissville, who is a sister of the Mrs. Pecks. Miss Almond was a faculty member of Florls School until her retirement last spring.
Entertains With Bridge
Mrs. Irvin Wolf entertained the Sperryvllle Bridge Club and additional guests with dessert Bridge Friday evening at her home in Woodville. Those attending were Mrs. G. Brown Miller, Mrs. Mary Botts Quaint tance, Mrs. R. E. Wood, Mrs. George L. Taylor, Mrs. R. E. Patzlg, Mr8. C. H. Estes, Mra I. J. Kilby, Mrs. Roy Reeve, Miss Sharon Stone, Mrs. Elmo D. Flynt, Mrs. W, F. Moffett and Mrs. C. B. Palmer. Prices were won by Mrs. Palmer, Mrs. Estes and Mrs. Flynt.
