County Youth To Collect for UNICEF
Saturday night, October 31, some 15 boys and girls here in Rappahannock will engage in a constructive, beneficent adventure. Even those who will wear the masks of witches and devils will really be angels in disguise. They will proudly, happily cooperate with the life saving work of UNICEF, the United Nations Children's Fund. Under the auspices of Flint Hill-Willis Chapel Methodist Youth Fellowship, groups will go from door to door under adult supervision. The youth will be identified by their official collection carton, a half-pint milk container printed in orange and black with the UNICEF symbol of the mother and child. Only such good-will ambassadors are authorized to accept pennies for the Children's F und. Each dollar contributed to UNICEF can mean a daily glass of milk for 17 hungry children for a whole month.
