Friday Mrs. Cooksey was In Washington, D. C. where she visited her sister, Mrs. Marshall Scott, who is a patient in the Washington Hospital Center and was also a guest of Mrs. Alice Nelson. Morell and Percy Cox of Bethesda, Md., Mrs. Harold Curtis of Rockville, Md. and C. R. Walter of Charlottesville. Mr. and Mrs. W H. McDaniel of Fairfax were Sunday guests of Misses Garland, Lucille and Marion Riley. John Tapp, who has been ill with a heart ailment, is able to be out again; Mr. and Mrs. James Whisnant of Front Royal were visitors Sunday evening of Mr; and Mrs. Clifton Nethers. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Tear left Sunday for a week in Illinois and Wisconsin where they will vipit relatives. Mrs. Sarah Latham and daugh ther Susan, accompanied by Laura Schuermann, spent Sunday in New Market and visited the Caverns in Luray. Miss Merrill Parrish, a student at Baldwin School in Bryn Mawr, Pa. spent last weekend with her parents Mr. and Mrs. I. L. Parrish. <
