Rector, David Smoot, Anne Thornhill, Michael Titchenell aiid Bill Welch, jfeach contestant had agreed to write a review of not more than 400 words of a book selected by him or her from an approved list of 65 books available on loan at the High School library. Each review is to be turned in to Mrs. Myra Wolf, teacher of English at the High School, by not later than a date assigned by her. The writer of the best book review will receive a certificate of achievement and an order on a book store for $10 worth of books of the winner’s choice. The winner will be announced and the prize awarded at the 1965 commencement exercises of the High School. Three judges of the entries will be selected—one each by Principal H. B. Winfrey, Mrs. Myra Wolf and Mrs. Jean Moffett, Librarian, of the High School. The names of the judges will be announced in an early issue of the Rappahannock News.
