Club had us wanting to sit down and relax in the beautiful re-upholstered chair which was an achievement of their club in the very short period they have been organized. The Flint Hill Club brought our attention to our Federation Goal of “Art in Daily Living" with their attractive display of copies of art and the histories of each. The Sperryville Club exhibited their creativeness with a display on the Basic Dress, and accessories. The Woodville Club displayed a Three Season Basic Wardrobe incorporating the use of basic sewing techniques, co-ordinating accessories and hat-making. An interesting feature was the “Sales Table- with all selling being done in silence by the bids, with names, being placed under the article for sale and at the close going to the highest bidder. Out of county guests were Mrs. E. D. Hopkins of Remington, who is the president of District VIII of the Virginia Federation of Home Demonstration Clubs, and Mrs. Georgia W. Woodruff of Arlington.
Officers for the coming year of the Rappahannock County Home Demonstration Clubs were recognized as follows: County Chairman, Mrs. B. Gale Titchenell; Vice-Chairman, Mrs. Charles F. Glaenzer; Secretary-T reasurer, Mrs. Paul Miller and Federation Program of Work Chairman, Mr6. F. L. Bowey.
