David Edwards Charged In Shooting
David William Edwards of Markham was arrested at his home Sunday morning, November 15 in connection with the shooting of John W. Clanagan of Jeffersonton which took place November 1 at Pine Knot Inn near Washington, Va. Troopers Collins and Willis of Warrenton apprehended Edwards.
He was immediately turned over to Trooper Paul P. Dicks of Rappahannock and lodged in the local jail here pending $1000 bond. Mr. Dicks investigated the shooting on November 1. Edwards is charged with felonious assault. A preliminary hearing is scheduled today in county court.
